Ungrateful sonsabeeches...
Okay, so initial anger and hostility aside, why in God's name would any developer make a game exclusive to a console unless they're a small start-up outfit who's getting major kickbacks from The Big Three console vendors. Why in the name of all things fighting game sacred would Namco (who is pretty damn financially sound) make their most beloved, celebrated, adored, and worshipped franchise exclusively for the PS2?? Are they really banking on the hope I'll run out and buy a PS2 to play their game?... Well they're wrong dammit... dead wrong. My hatred for Sony and their pretty horrible support (which I've been the victim of on all kinds of different products, from televisions to laptops) runs too deep to even give them $150 for a PS2 (or PSP for that matter, although by all accounts I hear its awesome).
Intelligence and reason sinking back in, I realize full well that 'exclusive' these days comes with an expiration date and we will no doubt see SoulCalibur III for the GC and Xbox by 2006, but it still ticks me off to no end that all the Sony fanbois get it before me. And it also ticks me off that Namco wouldn't want to use the considerably more powerful Xbox to launch the game with...
