Sorting search results

In searching for a CPU in FS/FT, I became a little frustrated with the search results.

Either a quick search or the advanced search, the results aren't in an order that I recognize. I selected Sort Results By: Last Posting Date in Descending Order and only results within the past month.

The results come back in some random order. For example, searching for AM2 gives this:
Today
Today
Today
05/08
05/06
Today
05/03
05/03
05/06
etc....


I've selected sort by last posting date in descending order. Why isn't it Today, Today, Today, 05/08, 05/06, 05/06, 05/03, 05/03, etc?
