Sorta OT: compgeek's ShakeLight!

Sharper Image has these too. I've only been there in broad daylight, so I'm not sure how bright one of these really is. I was thinking about getting one for my nephew who's at the "Flashlights are really cool to play with" stage.

This is probably a pretty good deal for spelunkers who want an emergency backup light.
 
I have one of these thanks to a Hot Deal ages ago. It works really well as long as you don't expect the stunning brightness of a battery/bulb model. You wouldn't want to work by it but it's plenty for emergency.
