I know that there is a way, either thru DOS or Windows,to "restore" or "recapture" your computer settings, etc. as they were a couple of days ago. And, I even did this myself at one time just by stumbling onto the instructions BUT, I don't remember where I found them. I am sure that it was either thru "Windows troubleshooting" or, in a "DOS for Dummies" book that I have. Either way, I need to find out how to do this again as I had a few minor glitches with my computer and, like always, I have made it worse by fumbling around on my own.
To make things even worse, I just recently got the "Go Back" software but I haven't put it on my computer yet. (My first thing to do as soon as I get this problem solved.)
Anywho...there is nothing major going on other than I get some message boxes asking for the location of a file and such but, nonetheless things that have multiplied by my fooling around on my own and are causing problems and annoyances.
Can anyone PLEASE help me?
