If I were you I would wait a couple more weeks. Last week of this month Intel is releasing their new chip Conroe and AMD has already officially announced price cuts on the same day as much as 50% including dual core.
 
I was going to buy my stuff from newegg and finalyl gave up....I'm jsut goign to get a laptop and probably sell of my desktop until I can afford a REAL gamign system....not the cheap make-do-withs that I would have bought
