Sorry guys till I get the rma back I dont have a video card to use in her,
My tas production will be zero, but just till i get it back.
Reading posts and editing webpages may also halt
I can use the girls computer, BUT reading on this 15 inch monitor, after using my 21 incher lol man the print is tiny.

If you don't hear from me, send the beer wagon, as I'll be real thirsty when I return from the hot tub😉

I did a ati rma once and it went fine but it could take a little while to get your card back. I have a ti4200 that does the same thing around here somewhere.

this will be the second rma for this card

I rma'd the first one I bought (right after I got it)

It took 4 days (christmas two years ago) to get it to them and 2 days for them to do their magic, but it was 10 days getting back iirc.

damn at the timing, oh yeah it has a 5 year warranty 😛

I just hope they honor it.
 
Anyone out there near Wolfie to send him a spare video card?

I have a bunch of older spares lying around but from here in PA it will take USPS Priority Mail at least two to three days to get there!!

Someone's gotta have a extra! We have a cruncher DOOON!

well... I have a Matrox PCI here... dunno what the model is... the chip says Powered By MGA 64-BIT GRAPHICS so it must be something special :roll: The card has a date of 1997 and has 644-03 REV: A written beside the Matrox... LMK via PM if you want this....

I have a ti4800 64mb card in this computer(the Girls) and I just checked and it has onboard video
(sorry I didn't think of it before)

So it looks like we will still be a running 😛

and I wont have to suffer too much 🙂

Oh yeah

Well I got the ti4200 installed in here np
but the onboard refuses to cooperate, and the 9700 hangs at safemode or at the start of windows
I deleted the nvidia drivers and also regedited to remove all traces there.
but it still hangs.

at least I have an hour before the children find out I swiped their card lol

yeah man im in seattle but my work schedule is hell and id just ship ups ground or by the post office. trust me, ups around here will take 2 days even to deliver next door.
 
Nah I appreciate the offers I have the temp solution solved, maybe I can grab a cheap vid card friday, ati will take a few days for the rma to get rolling and I will make sure its set up to crunch blind untill i get a replacement.
