Sorry folks, I was under the impression this was the new box. It will be unvieled tonight.

Anyone watch TechTv?

Various bolts, nuts, zip ties, heat shrink tubing, plastic sheeting, and other hardware

That was the old one. He built a new one and it's supposed to be unveiled tonight on the show. Supposedly over $10k. I'm guessing it has a built in LCD for that amount.

Also, the original post in this thread has a link to the original box he built, not the new one which is a cube.

You're right, I thought that was the new one. I just got the link in my email and assumed it was. My bad.

I don't like the idea of putting all together especially the speakers, and the subwoffer

I wasn't really wowed by the second one. Built in projector and speakers is nice, but the overall box was just "blah".

Of course I couldn't have done it, but I thought it would be cooler.
