I've had 0 problems with Sparkle, and 0 problems with Enermax, so I would still tend to recommend those :)

I cannot say what the BEST one is...but my Enermax is doing great with a TB1.4@1650
No problems at all, great PS.

Does the speed of the proccesor matter that much when looking at power supplies? They draw only so much wattage, right? How much more can a 1.6 draw over a 1? Most people have 50W to spare in their 400W system anyway, right?

Wildebeast....It has been noted on these and other message boards that Higher output power supplies are yeilding better results when using the Tbirds over 1.5Ghz.

Gil,
I just ordered one to preempt problems like that (running a 300w now). www.bestbyte.net has excellent prices on Enermax PSUs. The guy who runs the shop is very nice and their shipping is cheap too...

ogn...i think you're is the 550 W...i havent' seen any higher than that. But anyways...enermax rocks...just cuz it's not on AMD's approved list doesn't mean that they aren't good. In Actuality...they are one of the best...ask any enermax owner's if they had a single problem. I know...you've prolly read MrThompson's post on enermax but don't worry...his sources (the article from cluboc) isn't valid...they actually updated the article and stated that ENERMAX PS's ARE COMPLIANT WITH AMD's...and the only reason it's not on that dumb list is because they haven't got to test them. Trust me...Enermax...i recommend the 431 W. It's sufficient.

my 400 watt antec has no problem running my tbird to 1566 although it gets to hot for my peace of mind at that speed so I don't run that.

The AMD list is a guide only and they have not tested and listed all the good PSUs,btw in the Enermax booklet it says the VE models are AMD recommended.
