You mean those losers who are throwing molotov cocktails at police, looting businesses and shutting down major roads? I don't seem to remember McCain supporters being that extreme when Obama won. At work I am getting emails from various University's we support offering 'Support Groups' and 'counselling sessions' to help people deal with this. My facebook feed is filled with people struggling to figure out how to explain this to their kids or crying about how saying 'grab them by their pussy' is now legal (was it ever illegal?)

The way HRC supporters are acting I'm having a tough time telling them apart from Trump supporters. Both sides need to settle the fuck down

Um, no. Liberalism's secular humanity and Christianity together gave us virtually everything that is good about Western civilization, even though the two are quite often at odds. And as much as I deplore how today's progressive movement has turned on so much of classical liberalism and seeks to roll back hard-won individual rights in favor of an all-powerful authoritarian state, even progressives are sometimes the morally or practically correct force in politics.

The losers were Clinton and her buddies who now don't lead the nation (although they still have extremely wealthy & comfortable lives). The citizens of this nation are winners.

Looking over 2008 when Obama became President... this forum was REALLY slow, tame, and not really recognizable. I appeared to be sporadically posting commentary against McCain, Bush, and deficit spending. I was looking for our raw reaction to Obama's election but man, so subdued.

I watched YT clips from the last couple of shows of Seth Meyers, Colbert, Trevor Noah, Bill Maher, Samantha Bee, and they are all still shell shocked. Whatever sore winning there is, the losers are not taking it much better. They all spent 8 years mocking and joking about all the doom and gloom fear mongering from conservatives. Now they are doing the EXACT same thing. It is hard to watch such lack of self awareness. Or worse yet, if it is the case, shameless hypocrisy.
