It's been moderately hurting since Saturday, I was hoping it'd go away..but three days later it's gotten worse. Halls pills, salt water, etc..none of that has helped.

It's 7am here on the west coast and my doctor won't open for another couple hours or so..so here am I in moderate to severe pain hoping it'll go away. I was able to sleep for maybe an hour last night but feel surprisingly awake now.

Have you tried sipping on hot steamy honey tea? It should soothe your esophogus nicely for temporary relief.

SPRAY is your solution. You know, that little spray bottle from the cold remedy aisle that can numb your throat if your aim is good enough. I put it in big caps because that's how it looks in Duane Reade drugstores here: big, proud letters SPRAY. I forget what the rest of is -- it's a generic. Apparently "Cepacol" is a brand name. Good luck and get better!

Yeah and hot chamomile with honey and lemon huice is good too.

Go to the drug store and get some chloraseptic that you spray way. Sweet relief will come your way :) Having a sore throat without the spray is torture. Don't do that to yourself.

Gargle with a warm salty solution. I think that will reduce the swelling.

Nope, just you.

Maybe something's wrong with your tonsils.
