Sore Neck glands and back of throat, but only the right side.

I woke up today and the gland areas on the right side of my neck and right side of the back of my throat are sore. It is borderline painful in those to areas when I swallow, a dull glandular type pain, not sharp or scratchy. Some pain also extends up to my right ear canal. What's weird is that it's only on the one side. Any ideas what's up? Yesterday I felt fine.
