If you recall, in 'The Godfather' there is a scene where a guy goes to a restaurant, goes to the bathroom, takes a gun, comes back and shoots everyont at the table...

I don't buy it. There has been a lot of Godfather allusions and imagery lately. This is entirely true. However, I think Chase was just playing with us, have us follow the Italian looking fellow into the bathroom. My theory, as posted...

Didn't anyone notice the weird looking trucker with the cap pulled down? He had some scars on his face? Didn't he looking vaguely familiar to anyone? Like a certain Terminator? Who had all that gambling debt to Tony and wondered off somewhere after loosing everything? Someone who had reason to hate Tony Soprano more than anyone else?

David Scatino shot Tony Soprano.

Wow.. seems like people didn't enjoy the ending.. glad I never started watching in the first place.

Is it really necessary to post non-sense like that? Nobody cares! So you don't watch the Sopranos, bravo!

Of course other people appear to be very much interested in it 😀

There happy now Fuzzy? 😛

i was another one who thought i had cable problems too..... the same thing has happened many times before when the hd signal dropped.... kinda ruined it for me

That was the whole point. I'm pissed believe me, but they had the camera looking at every guy suspiciously, they wanted u to be like "oh shii tony gonna get killed" ..how many times Meadow had to pull her car in..all the suspense and they just clowned everyone. They better make a movie. !!!!

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

i thought my cable went out also. I was thinking this is b$ then the credits roll. Then I was like OMFG. Give Chase credit it's got us talking. A movie would be great.

What's the complaint? Chase left it to each fan to choose their own ending behind the blackness. Is that too much responsibility to accept as a viewer?

It's not a question of responsibility, it's a matter of laziness. Can you name a single great movie that ends ambiguously? At the end of Citizen Kane does the viewer have to make up his own version of what Rosebud means? How about ending Star Wars right as Luke fires his shot? The viewer could decide whether the Death Star blows up. Maybe we could end The Wizard of Oz right as Dorothy clicks her heels. You get to invent whether she gets home or not. Hecj, it would be cool to have her die from the head injury, right? Nobody really needs to know whether E.T. went home, what happened to Bogey and Bergman in Casablanca or who wins the gunfight in High Noon. It's much more convenient to let everyone decide for themselves, right?

People watch TV and movies to be TOLD a story, not to write one.

Yep, very weak ending. At least it didn't end as a dream sequence... I almost gave up the show when they started that business a few seasons back.

Pretty sure the whole conversation where he was talking to Bobby a while back and one of them said "They say you never hear the one that kills you." was foreshadowing here.

Also, did I miss the part where Pauli got whacked?

not everything that comes out HAS to follow everything else
some of us like creativity and shows that arent the same plot/script as every other one before them

Total Recall left us wondering.....
Mulholland Drive
Eyes Wide Shut
High Plains Drifter

I liked the ending. I worried before the season came to a close that David Chase would be too patronizing with the ending.
Sorry it didn't work for you and others.

That's BS. I don't care what anyone says. Series finales need to have resolution.
