If you know where to look, you can already watch this episode. I Just finished it and wow great episode. I liked it better than any episode in the previous half of season 6.

Great episode, and they're slowly setting things up for the end of the series. I see lots of bloodbaths to come in the following weeks 🙂...maybe it'll make up for the letdown that was Rome's final episode.
 
Holy crap they killed Christopher just like that!? WTF I thought he would takeover or go to jail or a billion things besides get clipped!

No spoiler, he's making crap up. Just watch the episode, I thought it was going to be all flashbacks based on the title, but it ended up being way better.
 
Meh, the middle 40 minutes of the episode sucked except for the fight. I didn't need a complete play by play of everything that happened that weekend. It really seemed like they were stretching it out (as it seems they've been doing w all the plot lines in the first half of season 6)...if there was another subplot going on back in Jersey or the NY guys and they kept going back and forth it would have been a really good episode. I'm convinced David Chase is actually an idiot.

I think they're going to pull some chest hair or other form of DNA from the part of Bobby's shirt that dude ripped off and Bobby is gonna get arrested. Also, hollow points are illegal in Jersey? That sucks, they're legal in DE where I live and I have 36 of them waiting for anyone who shows up at my house uninvited.

The Tony Soporano from pre season 5 wouldn't have taken a beating like a bitch.. maybe that's what his sister meant about him 'changing'... he turned into a giant pussy.
 
I hope Christopher kills Tony in the end, and then walks out of where ever he did it and

Tony getting killed one way or another is highly likely but I don't know if I see Chris doing it. I guess the odds of him being handed the keys to the kingdom are pretty unlikely after what Tony said in this episode. Bobby is gonna get locked up, Sil already figured out he can't handle being boss, Paulie...no way, Chris couldn't do it and smack...who is left? AJ? Yeah, right. A war w NY is probably how Tony will die but the fact that it would have been basically started over Vito being a f4g (though it goes back to Tony B and probably before that) is pretty crappy.

They didn't "cancel" Rome. The producers planned it as a two year series because that told the entire story. The rest of Octavians reign was relative peace. Nothing else of merit happens.

Good to know but they reportedly spent $100 Million on just the sets for that series. Surprised they spent so much for such a short series. Wonder if they'll ever make their money back on it.

Would they really bring Tony back from half a dozen episodes earlier in the season of having a huge gut wound and being a stone's throw from death just to whack him in the last 8 episodes?

I dunno, I guess they could, but it would seem too...predictable and cliche...we're at the end, yeah, we almost killed him once, we're gonna do it for real this time!

I'd rather a more mysterious ending where the family just disappears overnight, Feds break down the door the next day, and they're all gone.

Wait...that's kind of cliche too.

Eh, Tony and Carmela go to Vermont. While they're there, they watch a fat guy get mugged and don't help, they just stand by and laugh. They get arrested, and in court, they bring in various witnesses to testify...

I give up.
 
I'm surprised that Tony accepted Bobby's "birthday present", considering the legal problems he had just gotten out of, (or thought he had)..You'd think that he would have to suspect that the Feds and/or the locals would be keeping an eye on him...
