soooo I'm sitting here doing this writing assignment

it was for ski conditioning, just a 1/2 page about the olympics, I can't remember if it's supposed to be *about* the event I liked or about the olympics in general, or whatever. bleh.

bleh! I feel like I'm in high school again, writing assignments in physical classes :|

Oh well, I'm yet to take the physical gen ed. Can't really help ya. 😀

my god I am worthless

<< Skiing always impresses me when I watch it on TV; something about being able to imagine myself in their place makes me want to get out on the slopes even more, and when the slalom skiers biff it on a tough turn, I wince, because I know how it feels; only I crash at much slower speeds of course. I couldn?t find enough time to watch the skiing/boarding events of the Olympics, and it kind of depressed me, the only event that I saw was the men?s super-G event, and it was pretty cool, just because of the speed that they put into their corners. Just imagine how long they can do the wall sit for! If I had an option of what event I would do, it would most likely be the super-G just because of the variety, it has hills, fast curves, etc, but no moguls. I hate moguls! There was a pretty bad turn on this season?s course, 5 different people crashed at the exact same point (or just missed the gate) and the thing is, they all knew exactly where it was because they did the preview runs the same day of the event! Talk about tough. Actually, the super-G kind of reminds me of the perseverance run at Willamette Pass because of the speeds, but definitely not the steepness of slope or length. Yes, the Olympics overall has motivated me to enjoy the sport I love more, even writing this paper has motivated me to go skiing this weekend, since I have started ski conditioning, I have subconsciously correlated working out with skiing (instead of having fun like old times) but it will quickly pass once I get out there and see how fit I am on the slopes. >>
