if they make me write that many times, i'll cry lol

i reminds of elementary school in asia where i have to write 100 pages of "i will not forget to bring my textbook" *sniff*

Typical new guy stuff. BUT BEAR THIS IN MIND, new employees will generally get everything they ask for in the first few months. So start looking at decking out your cube at the companies expense. Also make sure you get that computer upgraded as far as you can cuase it will be a b!tch after they get to know you more. Just some advice.

With this in mind, ask for your computer to come with a X800 pro or something similar, then swap it out of your work computer and put it in your home computer. 😉

@nboy22, just hope they don't padlock your PC...
i'll prolly be a laptop anyhow so you could work at home or wherever

Man, thank god my company isn't like that! At any rate, I'm sure the PC's are upgraded every few years according to processor speed. At my company this year any computer 650 or slower is due for an upgrade. I think the desktop replacement is 3.x Ghz P4 and the laptop is 2.0 something or other.
