Soon to be ex-fat guy.

Gonna be sore tomorrow. Keep at it. It's not rocket science, just go. Every day if you can. Good luck.

Now if I could just lay off the beer.:\

How tall are you? Talked with a good nutritionist? I knew everything she told me but because I paid her $100/hr, I was vested in following her advice.

Good luck! It is easy to get motivated to start, but once the results are not as visible it is just as easy to lose that motivation.

Stick with it!

One of my friend has tried many things to cut down her belly but it was not useful she has tried slimming pills, slimming tea/coffee then one of our colleague told her about Ventouse Minceur and this is really very effective.

It is hard for girls to reduce fat of some parts of the body like belly or legs. I also do not believe any of the obesity medicines, tea and equipment which are harmful to one's body and will rebound easily. The only best way is eat less and exercise more.

Continue your exercises with motivation and soon you will become a good fat burner. Even though it may seem difficult in initially, very soon you can get the needed stamina and increase the calorie burn.

If it starts to become a real pain in the ass, don't think about it. Just do it anyway. 50 minutes is one hell of a good start and shows you already got what it takes to change. Keep it simple and keep doing it.

Awesome. Keep it going. Be thankful you're not a woman. It's so much easier for guys, lol.

I'm pretty sure it's equally difficult for both sexes. We don't have some extra magic that makes it easier. If anything, it's way harder as a guy to get a flat stomach than a woman as it's typically the last place we retain fat.

Not a lot of progress, weight as of today: 285.5 pounds.

I hurt my foot at work so no exercise this past week - any gains were water/diet related most likely

My foot is feeling good again so going to start up again tomorrow.

Thanks all, appreciate the support.

I am shooting for 50 minutes a day and did that for three days until I hurt my foot (non exercise related - dumbassery related 🙂 ).

I have an elliptical and stationary bike at home so I am trying for 25 minutes on one of those, and then 25 minutes of free weights. I am going slow and taking my time.

50 minutes really isn't that much time out of the day and I try to break it up. I do the bike/elliptical in the AM and weights in the PM.

I am lucky enough to have a basement with gear so I can do this right at home.

90% of your gains from fat loss will be diet related.

Weights to maintain lean body mass and to help raise your metabolism

Cardio to burn some fat and to raise your metabolism.

Keep at it Vic Vega!

exactly true. i have lost 45 pounds and it's all been changing my diet.

i have started adding cardio for heart health more than anything else, but 40 pounds of that was just changing what, and how much, i eat.

Congrats!

Most people seriously over look that they CAN NOT EXERCISE A BAD DIET away. Maybe possible if you are an endurance person doing 3-5hrs of cardio a day if you are eating 5-7kcal a day, and even then it's unlikely if you are eating that much.
