Probably educated/trained at DeVrys or ITT Tech.

We have some electronics techs in our office that went to both of those places. They know quite a bit about troubleshooting electronics, and our very good at what they do.

sudo update apache doesn't take a lot of resources.

Yea, actually it does with Enterprise-level IT. First, there's no guarantee apache is under package management as opposed to being compiled from source. Second, a change requires coordination with project management, test teams, Operations, etc. for most large outfits. Then, you may need to do this in a maintenance window, even if there's no outage, which means you're working at 2 AM on a Saturday night, of which there are only 52 of those, and many are taken by new software releases, etc. where the Dev PM doesn't want an infrastructure change in with their software changes. I'm not saying this still isn't shit work by Sony, I'm just saying its not that easy.
