<< I just bought one from J&R. Thanks for the info guys...now I need some advice on what to do with my extra R700DPC. Could I return to best buy or something around here? I bought it in the retail package for $184 shipped. Any ideas?

You can return it back. Just return it within 10 days or whatever there policy is. Its not software so its okay. Well it is in the UK anyway.

I have a big stack of MD's😀

2 recorders and 1 player. I love the technology but the real time recording speed sucks. I am 'so' tempted to get the NetMD. Or the memory stick player as I hvae a MS slot on my Vaio. So I get very fast transfers from it to the MS walkman. The 10hrs playback is the only down side🙁 I am use to 80hrs on my MD.
