Sonys fault again...

so, you'd rather your battery to be made by daewoo than sony? how about your LCD? how about your cell phone? you want a daewoo TV over a sony?

all these stupid hating. give me a break.

Just thought after reading someone replay. I bet we will see a LOT of old dell batterys or battery "recycle" programs for old non-working dell batterys from people now. Once junk now equals free battery. "-)

Nothing like sony quality. GO BLU-RAY!!!! AND PS3!!!! 😛

Don't forget, the first gen SONY blu ray drives for PC (costing around $750) can NOT play retail storebought blu ray movies.

Google for info, its from the head product manager. Also read up on the press releases about the drive, they brag about how it can play home made HD content from uber expensive sony digital cameras, but no where does it say in the press release that you can play store bought blu ray HD movies.
Its only in the interviews with the sony product manager that you find that out.

Note: I doubt this can be fixed with firmware update, otherwise the product manager would have surely said so, rather than letting his statements kill most of the potential sales of this drive.

Here's one link, theres plenty others:

I don't think I'll be buying any Sony products in the future. I almost bought a Sony camera a few months ago, I'm glad I didn't.
