I'm starting to think that if the Z3C comes to T-Mobile next month (Sony has a keynote set for October 9th in NYC), I might just get it.

It basically features everything I would want in my next phone.

1. Waterproof (not just water resistant)
2. Expansion for 128 GB of storage
3. Front facing stereo speakers
4. Easy one handed operation (this is enormous for me)
5. Alleged excellent battery life (Phonearena and GSMarena reviews)
6. Double tap to wake
7. Very respectable camera

no official release yet for the z3 compact... sony US site has it coming soon

you can order from overseas retailers like Clove/Handtec (or US-based sites who get their devices from overseas, like expansys), but there's always the question/hassle of warranty (may need to ship overseas for warranty)

Z3 Compact orders are going about $500 USD shipped, which is a great price for a flagship mini phone

I bought the Z1 Compact from Handtec in the UK, shipped to the US - when I had issues with mine, I contacted Sony Mobile USA, they had no problem sending me a replacement device from their Texas facility. It took a little longer, because they had to ship the device from overseas to Texas, then to me - but I got it, no hassles. At first, the guy was a little hesitant about whether or not the device was still under warranty, until I reminded him that it had only been on the market for six weeks so it was impossible for it not to be :)

Wow! Good hear. Got mine from Clove and have always been told, by Clove and Sony USA, that I would be on my own, or have to ship it back to Clove for any warranty.
