Techin': I'm out here. I was on vacation for the past week or so. I got my replcement se, but it had more problems. (All of the new ones can be fixed in the serice menu, except the wavy lines) A tech was out here, but he has to come back again. I'm 99.9% sure it will require a part replacement to fix. I think this could be fixed much faster with Sony's help. They know of this problem, but the CSRs that you talk to are clueless. It makes it a big pain. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at 800.com for the past 2 days, but no luck. They said they'd compensate me for my trouble and letting Sony fix this. We'll see what that compensation is. I may just send it back and get a 40" 16:9 TV instead if I can get a good price from them. I'll keep you posted.
