Sony Wega 32" Model KV-32FS17 for $798.99 at Circuit City B&M. This model comes with Picture-In-Picture.

Just picked this up after wanting to buy a Wega for the last 3 months.

This model comes with Picture-In-Picture. They had the KV-32FS13 which is the same exact model except without the Picture-In-Picture for the same price of $798.99. I really didn't want/need the Picture-In-Picture and I figured the $798.99 for either most be a mistake and I tried to get the KV-32FS13 for cheaper, butthe salesman wouldn't go any lower. He explained to me that sometimes they markdown better models to prices below the next model down which makes no sense to me.

Anyway, this is a HOT price for a Wega with PiP. I'd like to hear what people think.

EDIT

For the people that might not want to read the whole thread, I've added a link to my scanned receipt here:
Receipt

Someone informed me that they were able to have their local Circuit City pull up my order to confirm the price I got it at, so feel free to take a printout of my receipt to your local Circuit City to try and get a pricematch.

In my original post I stated it was B&M = at the physical store, not online. Most of the TV's at Best Buy and Circuit City are cheaper at the actual store then the price online. I checked online prices before actually going to the stores today.

<< pm to BB to get 110% difference:D >>

Hmm...I went to Best Buy's website to see about their price matching policy. It says that after you buy the item at Best Buy, if you find a lower price within 30 days, they will pricematch it at 110%. You have to bring them

<< verification >>

which doesn't really tell you what kind of proof you need.

Anyone have any experience with Best Buy price matching? Cause in that case, it would bring the price of the Wega to $720.00 which would be smoldering IMO! I haven't unloaded my TV from my SUV yet, but I'm really tempted to take the Circuit City receipt to BB tomorrow and see if they can give me 110% price match. If they do, I'll just drive over to Circuit City and return the Wega and go back to BB and buy it.

Actually a pricematch would get you another 10% of the $200 difference or $20. $779 total. I believe Best Buy has 12 mos no interest too. I'll have to stop by tomorrow and check it out.

Ah, so the pricematch % is not off the total price, just the pricematch difference? Therefore the extra 10% is actually calculated on the $200.00 price difference?

Here is a link to the scanned receipt:

Hopefully someone can pricematch and get the TV locally for the same price. If you need a better copy, let me know and I'll scan one at a nigher resolution.

Thanks for the post of the receipt, we need more people like you so we can take advantage of the pricematch. Looking for a 36 inch myself at the moment or HDTV, can't make up my mind, but thanks again...

This is a great product.

I have the KV-32FS12 - great picture, and the "16x9 enhanced" feature (manual) gives anamorphic DVDs 33% better resolution.

This is the least expensive "high end" TV.
