Sony Vaio tap 11 takes on Surface pro

Interesting. Some worries about the N-Trig to be considered if I had been still looking for a Tablet PC/Hybrid/Convertable.

Otherwise, again, many are approaching the bar and bringing their game to it. This gives more options to people who want the capability.

Definitely battery life will improve. But I have no problems with the ivy bridge system as is. Could I stand to have it better? Yes, definitely. But usually unplugged, I am working on something simple like note taking, web browsing, or reading. Perhaps artwork and painting.

And I get in and get done and put it away. Not like I constantly have the need to keep it on. And if it needs a charge, outlets are always nearby, a vehicle power inverter is there, and I can opt for an external aftermarket charger or be intrepid and take those and add a connector.

Definitely with all the functionality and manipulativeness that I can overlook a slightly not perfect battery life.

And by the time Broadwell comes out, things are really rolling.

Other than the fact that it is white (not a big fan of white electronics), the design looks really nice.

Boo on the N-trig digitizer, though. I'm a Wacom guy though 😀

I'm not a fan of this style of tablet and keyboard though. I want a tablet that docks into a keyboard with a hinge so I could use it like a laptop on my lap.

Agreed. Even though I never wanted to use my Clovertrail ATIV in my lap, I have used different screen angles depending on what I'm doing. I don't want to be limited to only one angle.

In fact, the ATIV so rarely leaves to docking keyboard that I'm thinking of a more traditional notebook next time around. The smaller, lighter Yoga 2 is looking really good. At least I'll have the perspective of two different styles of hybrids. 😛
