Nice deal, got mine from Dell for $285. Sooooo much more vibrant then the 95f+ I had.

Okay, so I have my Triniton now. I'm running dual monitors. But when I just use my Trinitron, it will only do 1600 x 1200 @ 60. I want to hit at least this @ 85. But when I run it @ 85 it shakes. Does anyone else have this problem with theirs? Let me know, thanks.

Are you sure it'll support 85Hz at 1600? I tried looking for exact specs for it, but none would tell what the Max Refresh rate was at Max Res. Anyway, I had the same kind of problem with my Viewsonic. It's rated for 85Hz at 1600 and anything past 60Hz would cause the corners to shake. I then moved around my dual monitor setup because I didn't like it and retried 85Hz, worked perfectly. I think the problem had to do with the fact that the monitor was very close to the power outlet in the wall(yeah, it's kinda high up, I'm in a dorm room) and it didn't like being close to the 60Hz mains. You might wanna check that out.

Also, all but one of those vertical lines I complained about seem to have disappeared. Now there's only one in the center and it makes a perfect cross with the top damper wire. Still annoying as hell, but I hope it disappears like the other lines. I may have to exchange the monitor :(

you ruled the samsung 900nf out of the equation already?

my 700nf does 1280x960 @130hz, it can do it at 150, but 130 is still not noticeable.

it is a little bit more than the onles your looking at, but has an amazing picture and is sharp, text is clear everything is amazing

Well thanks for your help Asianrice! It does support 85, but it shakes a little....kinda like someone is woobling my computer. I took off the dual monitors and tried it independently and it still wouldn't go over 60. However, I do thank you SO much for the powerstrip idea. There is an outlet behind my computer desk where my monitor is on. I originally plugged my monior into my 8 plug powerstrip, but knew that wouldn't get enough power, so I plugged it directly into the wall. However, with cement walls in my dorm you can see the "metal" coated wires that run from the ceiling to the wall where my desk is. And then directly above the outlet is the fire detector and the "metal" casing runs up that wall. Kinda confusing I know, but basically there are wires DIRECTLY behind my monitor. My question then is this: How do you plug the monitor into the wall and still stay a reasonable distance from it? But I will try to move my desk a little farther down the wall and see what happens. Also, I'm running dual monitors, I have the Trinitron, and then an old Viewsonic GA655 15". And I have the Radeon 9000 Pro. So I know it's not my video card. I'm running the Viewsonic from the DVI channel (with the DVI converter), and I have the Sony directly into the CRT channel. Maybe someone will know by all this if something can be imporved. Thanks again.

I have a Viewsonic P95f+B . It has a fuzzy spot right in the center of the screen....Hmm to many people have complained about fuzziness..Poor quality control? My 4 year- old Sony 400PS 19" is still alot better than my new Viewsonic..I have no complaint about it..

My g/f has one and it has the same thing... she isn't very picky and doesn't notice it like I do. I think its more a manufacturing issue the QC since I have seen this problem over and over again.

might not be correct aspect ratio, but i've found 19" are more compatible with 1280x1024 then 1600x1200 unless u turn on large fonts. whats the refresh at 1280x1024?
