Sony Says tell Customers PS3 CPU is THREE TIMES as powerful as 360

Sony has created a training website for store employees who will be stocking the PS3. They encourage people to relay to customers and other staff members that the PS3 CPU is THREE TIMES more powerful than that in the 360 and 35 times than the PS2.

You know, I am a console fanboy in general, and I like all companies and consoles, but I really am wondering wtf Sony is doing this go around. it's like they want to get a bad name out there for the PS3 or something.

does it matter? the general public hears this, but then there are 0 available PS3s while plenty of 360s in stock and an innovative Wii with (presumably) adequate stock for the holidays, guess what they're gonna buy!

the graphics (alledgedly) better, but games are delayed

sony at this round is just playing catchup to nintendo and ms

i will however, get a ps3 when price comes down to a humanly reasonable level and exclusive games like MGS4 and FF13 comes out
