PS4 slim is $299. That was refreshingly quick, no leading marketing BS.

PS4 Pro, 1TB HD stock. It sounds like the leaked specs were probably accurate.

Also what I'm getting out of this is that they're rendering games at some intermediate resolution and upscaling to 4K, which makes sense since those GPU specs can't really support 4K well.

Sadly all of these HDR demos are lost over streaming since we don't have HDR displays.

The 1TB is PS4 Slim. They haven't said what drive is in the Pro yet.

Almost certain I heard the 1TB in the Pro section. I'd be very surprised if the slim isn't still 500GB.

Yep, the system architect stated it was 1tb in the Pro.

On another note, this presentation is pretty boring so far. Unexciting presenters and nothing coming from those in attendance.

Wow - PS4 Pro November 10th $399! That's better than I expected.

Well that was quick. I'm shocked they didn't spend any time on PSVR.

So I'm confused. Did I miss it or did they skip over if the Pro supports UHD Bluray with HDR?

Well, that was just a bad presentation. It's like they forgot to involve the marketing department in creating this presentation. They didn't get people in the audience excited at all; how are people supposed to be excited about buying a PS4 Slim or Pro?

Still better than the Apple presentation, which was full of fluff and crap. But yeah, it felt like the PS4 Pro presenter smoked a blunt before coming on stage.

I got my bog standard PS4 for $300 last December. I wonder if the Pro will have any nice pre-christmas sales.

I don't think they mentioned it, so that's a good question.

The double-decker design of the Pro looks a bit odd.

Listening to the system architect, I felt like I was in some sort of medidation class. Not a good presenter.

But yes, much more direct; nothing like the Apple BS; if it were like Apple, we would have seen graphs showing the performance comparison between the PS1 and PS4 Pro

Yea that seems weird as its literally Sony's format. Maybe they just didn't talk about it as it would be common sense for it.
You would think so, but apparently an updated BD drive is required for UHD playback. MS added this for the new Xbx One S model. As you state, you would think Sony would be supporting this, but you would also think they would have highlighted it has the new drive?

My source isn't definitive, but those onsite tweeting supposedly got confirmation from Sony it wouldn't play UHD discs but will support Netflix 4K playback, etc. Just bizarre...
