I hate to bring you some bad news but guess what??? They are an authorized dealer for Sony. I called and asked them. They sell dozens of Sony items and you think they are not authorized?

Yeah, I agree, the Planar is far better, and with an 18inch, it should really be UXGA, but that's my opinion. The DVI really helps too.
