If Sony's going to stop piracy somewhat they should pass the savings along to the consumer and lower PS2 game prices.

why the hell would they do that? they are cheaper than any other console games out there...

price lowering aint gonna happen when they remain #1 with not much slowdown even with two other systems... if the other companies started lowering to create a pricewar.. cheaper games might exist... i just dont see it happening anytime soon.. btw, dont you have a BLOCKBUSTER near yer house? its 5 bucks to rent a game... most games aint worth more then 5 days anyways.. and if they are.. save up the 50 bucks

OR if you are cheap you could buy a suscription to the magizine and get free demos in it! thats what i do, and if i like the game i buy it, lets say 5 demos per magazine 5x12=60 demos for you to enjoy if not more! all for $20

in the past i have supported them many many time, i use to like sony product alot but no more. they have gone too far and stepped over the bondaries of our privacy.
I rather give my money to charities then buy their overpriced product therefore giving them more power to do as they pleases, like all big corporation they have only 1 thing in the their mind. make money from consumer and screw them at the same time.
because this upset so many people i hope they go out of business for good without our support they are nothing. i think they have already made more then enought but getting too greedy and by enforcing all kind of restriction and shoving their asses around they believe it will make them more money then ever. just like the DVD macrovision and CSS thing. what next? brainwash people to buying only sony product ? just like what intel is doing .
