Sony GRV Notebook problem...Please help

First thing I started having problems bringing my computer out of hibernation, and I would get an APCI error message. Then i noticed that my memory detects as 256mb when i really have 512mb. So i reseated the memory and it detected correctly at 512mb. Everything was working fine, and going into hibernation perfectly, not freezing etc. Then today i started the computer out of hibernation and i am having the same error as before and my memory is detected as 256. I also looked at BIOS and the memory is detecting as 256 there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

might want to see if there are any bios updates available or do some memory tests with programs such as mem86 if you don't want to go that far.
