Sony ebook Reader looks pretty cool

I agree I was looking for something like this awile ago and couldn't find one I liked. I'm tired of paper books I'd rather get them off the internet or on a flash card.
 
Do any respectable, high quality electronics manufacturers have something similar? If not, I'll wait. The thing probably comes with PC drivers which install a rootkit :laugh:
 
Didn't Sony have basically the same thing a few years ago, that sank like a stone because their DRM sucked?

In my eyes, it isnt worth upgrading to ebooks until they offer something above and beyond standard books - full color, integrated dictionary, web access, selectable fonts, video/animation/flash ability etc etc

Why would I pay $500 for something like this?
