I'm sorry to bother everyone, but could someone explain to me what's the difference between the sony e400 and the g400 since all i can see is a price gap and that the g400 is supposdely for the business people. I plan to buy a 19" monitor and I kinda want to get the sony e400 for about 435 shipped plus tax. thank you

The g400 supports a higher refresh rate. That's about it. I dont remember how much higher but you can find that out on your own by doing a little research. I really like my g400, though.

If you want to run your desktop at 1600x1200@largefonts then i suggest g400 because of the higher refresh. e400 is fine if you can stand lower.

There are 3 grades of Sony monitors, not sure if they are still on the same naming convention tho

E-Elite series (bottom range)
G-Gold series (mid range)
P-Platinum series (high range)
