Sony DW-U10A Black - 279$$

Hmm... Yahoo stores make me nervous. But that's a good price. Hmmm... And Sony decided to use a standard face too finally! My DRU-500A has that odd silver/putty face that is oddly shaped (so no stealth mods).

Anybody dealt with these guys?
 
I have never seen that drive before. I can't find it on the sony website. Any reviews? Is it much better than the 500XA?
 
It is just the OEM version of the 500A, so no. I got one from the newegg refurb deal and it has been a good little drive. Flashed to the lastest 500a firmware without a problem.
