I picked up mine at a local Best Buy about 5 days ago and used that 10% coupon. Glen Burnie MD had 3 left and Columbia MD had 3 as well. Drive is working great.

I got this info by calling Lite-On after reading the press release...sorry i don't have the link anymore, but I did call them and they confirmed the price and the fact it will be released in the 2nd quarter of this year. I'll wait for the Lite-on unit myself, we all should know what kind of "Hot Deal's" there will be in a little time after their release.

Just an FYI for any of you who are thinking about purchasing this drive before the 1/31/2003 rebate is up. I just got an email from RebatesHQ.com stating that my rebate was *APPROVED* ... And that my $50 check would be in the mail soon!!! Remember that I purchased from an authorized dealer (BestBuy), so if you did not buy from someone who was listed on the rebate form, you will most likely not be getting the rebate. Good luck to all those who mailed in their rebates!
