BTW, got in on this a few weeks ago on the clearance table at my local Staples, and I bought it for the hell of it since it was so cheap. Figured I'd try it out on my N710/760c just in case it fit, and it does! I mean, not perfectly, but securely, and enough so that it charges and transfers info fine. So if you have a different model, I'd say try this out. They take returns on clearance items, although they deduct a percentage for "computer-related merchandise."
