BUT ITS FREEEEE!!!!! FREEEEE!!!!!!

Who cares if its a pure shit service, its freeeeeeee baby.

Except its not. Good job attempting to troll, but you failed.

Why is it not?

Is it as easy to use and integrated like XBL? Nope

Is it slow as hell? Yep

Does anyone care about the sims/second life garbage? Nope

So far XBL is winning. I don't want to have to call/txt my friends to set up an online game, which is pretty much a requirement with PSN. Every person I know (including me) that has both will choose XBL every single time, PSN is terrible.

Care to offer an argument or just gonna stick with the fanboy one? LMK

Pot...kettle:laugh:

nope, not really. Have both systems, used both online components, and PSN sucks is the conclusion I have come to.

It really does. If you are just playing by yourself online with other strangers, it will do just fine. HOWEVER like ric says, the freakin' sending a chat message to coordinate setting up a game is AWFUL! Sony should concentrate on fixing this MAJOR flaw (IMO) instead of trying to find ways to screw over the third party developers by charging them for bandwidth. Is the PS3 more integrated than the PC, yes it is. And like I said, it really is fine if you have no friends you want to play with. But if you have friends, it sucks and is very frustrating. For instance, when I'm playing head to head SFIV with my friend, he can ONLY hear me when he finally joins the game lobby. When we get disconnected (notice I said "when" not "if"), I lose all communication with him. We just have to agree, if we get disconnected, I have to host and he has to join. It's really irritating. On XBox Live, no matter what happens, I'm ALWAYS talking to my friend. I can leave a game, change games out, whatever. The only way I'd lose communication is if Live went down or my internet went down. That's it.

Slow downloads, I can deal with. The communication piece on the other hand is REALLY irritating, and something Sony needs to really come up with a solution for. Instead of dumping all that money in that Home garbage, they should have fixed this first.
