Did a search and didn't find this posted before (at least not under Sony).
I just got back from Staples (trying to find the $48 Pacific Digital external USB CD Burner, no luck) but found the <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: yellow">sony</FONT> CRX1950U model CD-R/RW Burner discounted to $99.90 in the case (next to the empty spot where the PD drive had been). Subtract the $15 or $20 printable Staples coupon, and send in your $20 mail in rebate. Potentially as cheap as $59.90 + tax. Pretty good I think for a slightly faster burner. (I used the $15 printable coupon without problems).
The rebate is supposed to print up with the receipt, but mine didn't. A search of the internet with Google yielded the rebate for though (gotta love google). Good until 11/30/02.
