Hell yeah this is a good deal!

$137 for a 17" SONY TRINITRON

A friend of mine just payed $330 for a 17" sony trinitron. I told him it could be done for cheaper but he wanted it then. And to him it was worth it, he has an awesome monitor.

I think I might buy 2.. dual display urges taking over.. I guess I will just have to get a smaller bed so I will have room for it in here!

*correction*

well, i guess i didn't even the monitor. but i found a monitor at sony's site with practically the EXACT same stats. it was the GDM17se1. except that had .25 AG vs the .26 shown there. But i am pretty sure even then that it is a trinitron monitor because i was under the impression that sony only makes trinitron desktop monitors? well, anyone that gets this, let us know, i might pick one up too

Plain Brown Box with Sony Part Numbering and Labeling on box

I think there is two things

either it's oem
or its refurbished but plastic( case is brand new)

Is this monitor flat screen as well?

Which would be the better deal? This 17" Sony with the .26 dotpitch or the 17" Dynaflat Samsung Syncmaster 753DF available from Dell with a .24 dotpitch? I can't find much info at all on this Sony monitor.. but I read the Dynaflat technology in the Samsungs is supposed to be more bright, but tho the glass is flat, the picture is still curved internally.

If I had more info on the Sony monitor and knew it was flat screen & what it could sync at in 1280x1024 resolution, I'd definitely go for it. But I really don't have any idea which would be the best overall. Any input?

This is a very sketchy deal. If a monitor is trinitron, the retailer knows it, and they will make a big deal about it.

When I added this to my cart and checked the shipping it came up as only 12.32 to San Diego, CA... This is just begging to be bought... anyone else getting such low shipping also?

I wanted to earn some quick cash to pay off for z560 and audigy and the memory I bought from dell. U guys think this is a good deal worth buying just so I can egay it for profit??
Thanks
