Ya, I don't get where they come up with there compatability list. I have a Sony DRU500, as well as the NEC 1300A, and both of these drives burn and read these dvd's without issue. We have also used them in the optirite and I/O drives without issue. They all burn these disc's at 4x as well. just my 2 cents...........

stay away from it. The store I bought it states that it is compatible with A105, but my Pioneer A105 can't read that disc. I tried the newest official and hack firmware.

Thats one drive we didn't test it with. We didn't have to flash any of these drives to get them to work.

ya, I bought 100 Ritek G03's, and 100 Sonix 4x's, and so far, I have coastered about 11 Ritek discs, and no Sonix discs. I have had much better luck with generic media than I have with Ritek. The last bunch of Ritek G04's I bought, I had random disc's that wouldn't even begin to right. Kept telling me to insert media that had atleast 4.3gig. I even tried backing up some data off my hard drive with them, got down to 22meg, and the said they didn't have enough space. I have a stack of about 60 ritek discs that are crap, and have never even been written on.
