Sht, forgot Metallica before NIN. Updated. 🙂

Well, even though I don't normally like LP they put on a good live show. Even though Metallica isn't in their prime they're still decent (not bad, not great). Machinehead, Bullet, A7X, Coheed, Mastodon, and Corey Taylor/Slipknot can all sell out tours by themselves. This will be an EPIC weekend for hard rock/metal.

When I saw LP it was the farthest thing imaginable from a "great show". I blame it on the crowd though - a pit full of 14 year old girls and their 50 year old dads.

I'd love to see Metallica though

Holy shite! £157.50 for the weekend + camping... I mean, if it wasn't in freakin' England, there'd be no question whatsoever I'd be there.

Is Heaven and Hell going to include Dio as the front man? I have heard some shows they do and some they don't. And I would go just to see Anthrax.

Dude, Dio will be there. He helped Iommi write the songs for their new album (released about a few months ago). And yeah, forgot about Anthrax! \m/

Guess i'm kinda out of touch...

Heaven and Hell (aka Black Sabbath w/out Ozzy)
When did they change the name?

Thin Lizzy 😕
Didn't know anyone was still using the name

From wiki:
Heaven & Hell is a musical collaboration featuring Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler along with former members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice. The four members of Heaven and Hell recorded and toured together as Black Sabbath from 1980-1982 and again from 1991-1992. In 2006, while the foursome reunited to record three new songs for the compilation album, Black Sabbath: The Dio Years, they decided to embark on a 2007 - 2008 tour. This was facilitated by the fact that current/founding Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne was slated to perform a solo tour during that time frame.

Because of the projected continuation of the band's original lineup (Iommi, Butler, Osbourne and Bill Ward) and the 2006 induction of the original lineup into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Iommi (owner of the Black Sabbath name) decided to call the touring group Heaven and Hell.[1][2] The moniker was taken from the first Dio-fronted Black Sabbath recording, Heaven and Hell.
