Sonicwall DMZ setup

Im having trouble setting up my web server on my DMZ port, i have a sonicwall pro 100.
Anyone have some experiance doing this that could help?

Thanks

Do u have the DMZ port connected to a switch or hub? or direct into the NIC on the server?

If to the NIC, u need to use a crossover cable from the DMZ port.
If using a switch or hub, straight thru cable!

Click on the "advanced" tab and put a range of the addresses you'll be using on the DMZ side of things. It will not work unless you have entered the addresses into there.

From there you'll have to configure your individual machines propertly. Gate pointing to right thing(router IP?), DNS set to the DNS of the ISP, Static IP's assigned, ect.

My network is running NAT, all static IPS. Class c subnet. problem i have is inside the building you can't get the web pages unless you type 10.10.x.x. Outside the building they work fine.

This is a common DNS problem, I have encountered it myself twice, and I hear about it from others.
I was told it is a common problem with entry-level routers, they hang on a DNS resolve back to their own IP. (I do not know what model of sonic wall equipment you are running, so I'm not implying it is entry-level). For now, I link the site in IE favorites by LAN IP.
Edit: You can always run a nameserver on one of your boxes. I did not want to do that in this case, but it will fix it permanently.
