This is specific to where there are Sonic Drive In restaurants, but they just started their brownbag promotion. 2 Sonic Burgers, 2 Medium Fries, and 2 Medium Drinks, for $5.49 + tax. That my friend, is a HOT deal.

Do they have a Sonics in Maryland? Oddly enough ive seen a commercial for them but ive yet to ever see one in the area.

Hehehe.. Sorry, deal all gone in the Southeast. I drove around tonight and cleaned out 3 states worth! Check ebay for the listings.... NO RESERVE!

What the hell is Sonic? I thought you were talking about Sonic the Hedgehog. I too live in Maryland but I have never heard of them.

I do believe Sonic is a southern chain (we've got one here in notehern Alabama) though it may spread. Krispy Kreme Donuts are moving north (as far as NY) and who woulda thunk that??

Sonic is based here in Oklahoma City.

They are a southern chain as far as I know.

Most of their restaurants are drive ins with a few
having Drive throughs as well as a little picnic area outside
but no inside eating except oddly at the one by my house.

Their food is excellent as far as fast food goes and they
still bring it on skates or blades just like in the good ole' days.

Also, I'll tell ya a secret. they've had the brown bag special
going continuously for as long as I can remember....hehe

We've had Krispy Kreme donuts here in VA for a long time. They've got the best glazed donuts in the world! I can eat a dozen at a time (I'm usually sick for awhile afterwards, but it's worth it 🙂 )

Sorry to burst yer okie bubbles but us Po Folk out here in california have sonic's as well..
and i believe we have their sister company called Rally's
very good for fast food... now one thing i do miss is Po Folks.. do they still have those back there? thanks for the deal i'll be looking for one tonight..

Yeah, Sonic has had the Brown Bag Special for a while now... but it's usually $6.99 or $6.49. Now it's $5.49. Thanks to seeing this thread over the weekend my co-workers and I got 2 of these and we all ended up eating lunch for $3!!! It was pretty nice to see all of the food being added up individually and then at the bottom of the ticket there was this nice "Brown Bag Special -$6.10" 'coupon' applied 🙂

Edit: Oh yeah, apparently this deal is good for the month of January.

We don't have Sonic here in New England, but I was able to do a
pricematch with Staples. They added $30 for overnight delivery,
though, so it isn't really that much of a deal, even with a
coupon...

If only Onvia still offered free shipping on Brownbags.

Who said folks in California wuz po??
Ain't u seen grapes of wraith son??
Who sed there ain't no Sonic's in Killyafornya?
Sounds like an inferiority complex, Oklahoma bein the MECCA for fast FOOD!
Also number one in Football and Executions per capita!
hehe

The wife and I went to Georgia to visit friends for a week
and my wife's ass dimension discovered Krispy Kremes. She
ate the damn thangs like pepper poppers at Schronic.
I think she was up to 1100 of em by the time we left.

Then we get back and drive by a building near our home in Oklahoma City
with a sign that sez, Krispy Kreme comin soon!

I was like,,,,,jeeeeeeez?????? Now I'm gonna hafta divorce her.
She just ain't gonna be able to control herself.
Guess I can just go to a king sized bed from a queen sized bed.

hehe

BROWN BAG RULES!!!

Sonic appears to be like a chain we have down here in Fort Lauderdale called Checkers. We also had Rally's down here before Checkers, but not terribly long after Checkers moved in, all the Rally's closed down. I see plenty of Sonic commercials on cable. Kind of amusing seeing Sonic and Hardee's commercials and there's not a single one of them closer than 10-12 hours away in Georgia. Unless they're on the west coast. But I didn't see any the last time I was in Tampa... These places must be owned by the same people as they all have the double drive throughs and the last time I was at Checkers, there was an ad for soda or something in the window that had Rally's name on it.

we have sonic and rally's here in austin. i haven't seen a po' folks in years. i think they dried up.
