not an intro, but I cut an mp3 to start at the beginning of the fast part of Freebird.

25-30 sec?! If my phone rings in public for longer than 5 I get embarrassed. It's a normal ringer too. Pick it up!

Opeth's Grand Conjuration intro is awesome. For something relatively mild but still quite awesome, try Opeth's Atonement (from ~10s to ~42s).

I pick it up as fast as possible, but I won't always hear my phone. Sometimes I fumble for my phone, too, so the phone rings longer than I want it to.

I'm a college student, so I don't have to deal with the embarrassment of having my phone ring too long (I'm almost always with friends).

Not sure of your definition of heavy.

Helloween is all about intros.
Mr. Torture has exactly a 25 second intro. But you would sound like a walking horror movie. Which would be kind of awesome come to think of it.
Mission Motherland has a 1 minute 30 second intro but could be split easily.
Deliberately Limited is 1 long intro (1 min 40 seconds) with multiple transitions.

Heavy generally means the distortion on the guitar is strong enough that it makes it hard to pick up musicality or individual notes. It doesn't help that it's coming from a phone's speakerphone.

whatever you do don't be one of those asshats that let their phone ring for 20-30secs so everyone can hear your 'cool' ringtone.

Some of these morons have there phones in their hands and sit staring at the screen until the ringtone repeats. You will know in the first 2 secs whether you'd want to answer the call or ignore it.

The funniest are the ones playing 'drug dealer/tycoon' and have their phone ring and try to pull it off as a dropped call.

No worries, I answer my phone as quickly as possible. Unless I'm sleeping, in which case I'll probably wait until the last possible moment... or just not pick up.
