So I've been hunting through my music collection, trying to find songs that would work well as ringtones for my LG Chocolate. Trouble is, either most songs don't have a natural break between 25-30 seconds or they won't work well as a ringtone. So, here I am, dipping into ATOT collective wisdom...
Here are some requirements and stuff.
1) has varied sound (i.e. I will notice the ringtone if the phone is in my pocket, i.e. isn't the same drone for the full 30 seconds)
2) must sound good (duh!)
3) nothing too heavy (heavy music makes for generally bad ringtones), nothing too light (light ringtones are super hard to hear)
4) must have a natural break in the sound somewhere between 25 and 30 seconds (so I can easily decide where to cut the song)
5) preferably no words/singing, but if you like it enough, suggest it!
I don't have very many examples as what I would consider a great ringtone. The song "Other World", from Final Fantasy X, *almost* fits the requirements, but the intro 15 seconds or so is a little funky for a ringtone. Lostprophets' song "Last Train Home" has a great intro, but starts out a little soft (though if I don't find another song, this is probably going to be my next one).

What I'm looking for doesn't necessarily need to be an intro to a song; if you have a 25-30 second clip, that could work just as well. It's just that intros generally are better-suited as ringtones, and they're easier to find when I'm looking them up.
