Ozzy - Crazy Train <-- my vote.

anyone else notice stuff like this? hear a leadin, think the song is gonna rock, and it goes to a completely different style that just doesnt fit well with the start? (or just sucks)

The second half of Band on the Run isn't as good as the first, but it doesn't suck.

That's all I can think of. I had the song stuck in my head a few days ago.

Cowboys from Hell 😉

To be honest, I love that song. Probably an opposite case to what the OP is talking about.

Ha, I saw this thread title and instantly thought "Crazy Train"

The first 3 minutes of "Children of the Sun" by billy thorpe was good, but the song goes downhill from there.

I like Crazy Train, but as already posted, That is the first song that popped into my head when I saw this thread. It just sounds like it has more potential when you hear the opening.... Just my opinion.

No no no!

Final Countdown and Children of the Sun are good songs!

And no one better post Locomotive Breath either. :|

i can see what you're saying about crazy train. I used to feel the same way, i still kinda do; i'm just used to it

Some people would probably say Meatloaf - I'd Do Anything For Love (the full intro, not the short intro), but I'm not one of those people. I'm not ashamed to admit that I like ballads.

I like the lead in to Bleed it Out by Linkin' Park but as soon as the song gets going and Chester starts screaming I cringe and move on.
