songs that sound good on a guitar?

So I have a guitar that I'm trying to get better with. The problem is that I'm having a hard time finding songs that a) are easy, and b) sound good.

For example, virtually any punk song will sound like ass if I were to play it without the rest of the band accompanying it; whereas a song like Sublime's "Rivers of Babylon" sound great with just a guitar.

So... any suggestions on other songs?

please?

just me, an electric guitar, and an amp; nobody else, no pedals, nothing. pretty barebones.

Well what kind of guitar, what kind of amp, etc.. these details are important.

I suggest learning some zeppelin, mostly easy and based on blues progressions, mostly sound good without any background. Old beatles tunes as well.

Ah... It's just a real simple $200 Fender Starcaster (looks a lot like a Squire actually), and a 10 watt Fender practice amp. I'm not sure what details you want, I'm still pretty new to the whole guitar thing 😵

Not sure about the "easy" part, but try Richard Thompson's "Persuasion" which was an instrumental (Sweet Talker soundtrack) until Tim Finn added lyrics.

Little Wing of course.

You have to pre-form it? How are you going to sinter it during the wedding?
