I'm a child of the 60s, and everytime I hear the song 'The End' by the Doors - I get the chills - the haunting melody and the lyrics:

Of our elaborate plans, the end

The song 'someone saved my life tonight' also is like this - funny how both of these songs have to do with suicide (I didn't realize that until this moment)..
