Master of Puppets (Greatest song ever)

Sorry, no. That song got old fast. It was like, "Yeah, this song kicks ass..."

"Now it sucks!"

You're broken.

Bridge Over Troubled Water

Absolutely one of my least favorite S&G songs. I might have liked it more if Paul had sung it, I'm not sure.

Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding

Absolutely cannot stand any rendition of this song by anyone.

Cake's Short Skirt-Long Jacket seems to enjoy wide popularity.

I don't get that one. Heard people talk about it a lot, but am not impressed by it myself.

Now if you want to talk early 80s songs in that genre that everyone loves I would suggest:
Obsession - Animotion
or
Don't you want me baby - Human League

I'd say those are the two most iconic songs to come out of the Synthpop era of the early 80s.

i get it. i have the original and 2 remakes of blue monday on my ipod, both the other songs you list arent even in my library.

as for most music listed in here, i like probably 3 songs enough to even keep copies of them, most are just songs that are notable in history. even master of puppets gets old about halfway into the song.
