Songify.......my new favorite app (iphone)

Ok, I know its an app and I know its for iphone, but it is the most fun Ive had in ages. Get it, play with it, have fun. My kid loves it.

I just can't see paying for it. It certainly has more functionality but I just can't see paying for it when you have pandora, slacker, and many other free options.

Um, its free, its an autotune recorder. you say something into the mike and it plays it back with music in autotune fashion. Its hilarious.

this past weekend we were hanging out after my brothers baby shower drinking and listening to music on my moms patio, and my brothers friend was like 'hold up listen to this awesome song' and put a clip that my brother had made about me on the radio.

it was one of the funniest things at the moment and we all started laughing non stop for a couple minutes. he downloaded songify on his iphone and said some funny shit about me and it was autotuned to the beat perfectly.

everyone w/an iphone immediately downloaded it and we were having a great time with it for a little bit.

if i had somewhere to upload an mp3 i'd let you all hear it ... it probably won't be nearly as funny to others as it was at the time, but we were rolling.

I found this app by accident on my Touch a few days ago after going to the 'Featured' tab of App Store just because I'm bored (haven't done that for maybe a year) and it was surprisingly great.

My 6 y/o son is the one who's using the Touch more these days and he really got the kick from it. It's hilarious watching him looking for labels on potato chips bag or a soda can to find something to read and turn into a song

Part of my "Thursday routine" is actually checking iTunes to see what the new featured stuff is. Sometimes there are some nifty items! The free songs are actually updated on Monday though.
