Song in the FF7 promo/demo video??

I have the promo video for FF7 (and some demo discs for playstation have the same video I believe)..

and anyway, it has this awesome song, but I have no idea what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the game, the demo, the action figures, a couple posters,
the crappy PC version, and the soundtrack but no promo video

That was nice of you piku. I left a copy of it on my son's desktop. I see it was recorded at 128KB/s, but it's got quite a bit of hiss. Must have been the original source.

My son had these on his PC. They're only recorded at 32KB/s, but are very clean:

i worked at electronics boutique a couple summers ago, and managed to snag their old FF7 promo tape. i made an mp3 of that song because i thought it was neat, and i've got it kicking around on some cd or other. let me dig it up and i'll find a way to get it to you.

if so, its by Faye Wong, a chinese singer, very very successful. She's the spokeperson for Pepsi too.

Cool piku. Thanks for the song. Guess it's in-house composition, eh? When I posted the thread that wasn't even the song I had in my head unfortunately.. but it is the right song for the question I asked Well, it might be the same song, just a snippet of the full song I have in my head.

I'll have to go home and check out the entire video to see if that's the only song though.

Well the song I put up is from Squaresoft demo CD that I have. It has a demo of Einhandler and Bushido Blade, with video's of FF7, FFT, and Saga Frontier.

The sond I just put up is the sound from that movie.

I am going to capture it again in a little bit, this time hopefully without the hiss
