It will all be HTML5, even the server side.. 😀

I feel your pain though, had a hard time working it myself. We used to call a burning cigarette our "vacation progress bar".

It's a shame that it's such an all-or-nothing lifestyle for most devs, beyond the point of diminishing returns in many cases. Though reading posts here by some programmers, they seem to have come to a reasonable accommodation, so it could all be situation. A good manager and a financially-healthy company with clear direction can really help. And being young.

I haven't been following this thread, but Slashdot just pointed me to a great NY Times article. Apparently there are better graphical languages than the ones I knew of.
